December 2nd Supper Club menu - 5 course vegetarian feast!

Hello friends...Sorry I've been quiet but I've just moved house and have been super busy organising everything.
I've had many requests for a vegetarian menu. Having worked in restaurants that specialise in vegetarian food for the past 5 years, and avoiding eating meat myself for most of my life, this has become a speciality of mine, so I couldn't help but oblige!

23rd August Supper Club Menu!

The next supper club will be inspired by Spain!

I've decided on this for two main reasons: One being that I'm a  huge fan of Spanish cuisine and two, good Spanish food in Sheffield is very hard to find!

So this supper club will be a rare treat - tasty home made food, featuring delicious dishes from sunny Spain.

~Menu~

Starter:
Various tapas including Calameres with Aioli, Patatas Bravas, Tortilla and Pan con tomate.

Main:
Paella with Ensalata

Dessert:
Churros with Hot chocolate dipping sauce.

New press and review section!

Hello everyone, just to let you know I have a new section to the left of the page titled "press / reviews".
Here you can find a couple of reviews from two of my first night guests who happened to be bloggers! Enjoy reading, hopefully they will answer a few questions for you.

Success!

I'm very happy to tell you that the first supper club was a big success!

There were no mistakes, everyone enjoyed the food and a great evening was had by all.

Here is a recipe for the dukkah that went down well:
This is an arabian dry nutty spice mix that goes well with pitta bread and oil / mayonnaise.

100g Nuts (I used mixed)
a teaspoon each of:
coriander seeds
cumin seeds
mustard seeds
dried mint
za'tar

*Dry roast the nuts and seeds in a frying pan.
*Crush them in a pestle and mortar or grinder
*Combine with other ingredients, season and serve!

Yes I will be holding another one in a month! I'll post the details in the not too distant future!
